The name Gruen has spelled quality in American watch-making for over a century and this stunning Art Deco wristwatch is a class example of Gruen's superb craftsmanship. The Arabesque dial is bordered by chevrons of caliber-cut rubies and old European-cut and single-cut diamonds in a rectangular platinum case. The case itself displays intricate chasing and engraving on the sides and back. The lugs are set with rectangular-shaped rubies, and articulated platinum straps are set with baguette and single-cut diamonds. The total diamond weight is approximately 3.60 carats. The dial is signed Gruen, and the movement is by Bueche-Girod.
