This beautiful Old Paris tea and coffee service for 12 was crafted by one of the small French porcelain factories that opened in response to the demand for quality porcelain in the 18th and 19th centuries. Each piece is decorated with particularly high-quality gilding on a deep royal blue background. This service comprises a coffee pot, a teapot, two creamers, a covered sugar bowl and 12 cups with saucers. Old Paris porcelain was made in and around Paris from 1770 into the 1870s. The quality of Old Paris is consistently fine and pieces are typically unmarked.
