Made specifically for naval use during World War II, this amazing chronometer is in excellent working condition. The winding 8-day clock is made of solid gimbaled brass and has a silvered dial with Arabic numbers. Inside the back cover is inscribed "Model 22 - 21 jeweled, U.S. Navy Ships 1943." Housed in a mahogany case with two latched lids, this amazing 20th-century timepiece is a wonderful testament to fine American craftsmanship and its service to the country.
