An extraordinary Moser art glass vase of exceptional proportion beautifully adorned with hand painted enamel decoration and applied, relief-moulded silver and gilt acorns. This decoration of oak sprigs and relief painting was patented by Ludwig Moser in 1878. Established in 1857, Moser earned a worldwide reputation for high-quality workmanship and artistry, exhibiting at various world expositions and garnering a number of awards. Often referred to as "The Glass of Kings," Moser served as the Court Purveyor to Kaiser Franz Joseph I, King Edward VII, and the Shah of Persia. This vase is spectacular not only in size, but its brilliant decoration and high quality craftsmanship. Excellent condition.
