A rare and luminous vase by émile Gallé featuring mold-blown, overlaid and etched decoration executed with amazing artistry. Considered one of the pioneers of Art Nouveau, Gallé was renowned for his naturalistic glass artistry. Vases such as this, with amber and brown molded cherries overlaid in high relief against a frosted yellow ground, beautifully display his mastery of this delicate art form. Excellent condition.
