Created in 1910 in anticipation of the arrival of Halley’s Comet, this family of patterns adorned some of the finest pieces of the American Brilliant Period. At this time, the designs of cut glass manufacturers tended to lean towards simplified, less ornate patterns. Libbey recalled the master glass cutters from the heyday of the Brilliant Period, the absolute best craftsmen the industry ever had, to produce this phenomenal punch bowl.
