A wonderful English wooden folk art cane with an ivory ball top ink decorated with a royal coat-of-arms, soldiers, emblems and officers on horseback commemorating well-known officers of the Royal Guard. The inscriptions read: His Grace the Duke of Wellington, An Officer of the Life Guards, An Officer of the Royal Guards Blue, Corpt. Shaw of the 2nd Life Guards, The Marquis of Angoeoey, The 92nd Highlanders Charging, An Officer of the Syl, and Lord Douglas of Liottana. Circa 1875.
