An amazing coin cluster recovered from the Princess Louisa, shipwrecked on the 18th of April, 1743. En route from London to Bombay, the Princess Louisa sank in waters off the west coast of Africa near the Cape Verde Islands.

Built in 1733, the Princess Louisa was named in honor of the youngest daughter of King George II.
