A rare silver pocket watch made by Grimalde and Johnson (1809-1828) of London during George IV's reign. The smooth silver hunter's case engraved with a crest, flips open showing a white enameled dial with Roman numerals and another inset dial displaying seconds. A superb piece of craftsmanship by respected English watchmakers, this timepiece certainly belonged to a distinguished gentleman of England's Regency Period.
